State-run electricity grid operator Power Grid Corp’s net profit rose by 78.81 percent to Rs.546.61 crore in the first quarter this fiscal year compared to Rs.305.69 crore in the same period last year.
Total income of the company grew 24.9 percent to Rs.1,822.32 crore for the quarter ended 30th June from Rs.1,458.49 crore a year ago.
